What I've Learned

This quarter I have learned that to write a story you need to go out there and you need to drag it out of people. The stories that are hard to find need the most work on. To get a good story people need to go out and interview others. To interview you need to go out and just talk to them. The interviews are nothing more than just talking just for fun. Interviews can get the stories for you. While interviewing I learned that you be at the level of the person being interviewed. To be prepared for an interview you need to have possible questions to ask. All of your questions probably won't be used, that is fine. I learned that I am okay interviewer, but I can still work on it. My favorite stories to write about is the sports stories. I already know the lingo and I am good at it.

I learned that the newspaper is very demanding. All of the deadlines must be met and you need to work well with others. This staff is fun and great to be around. The stories are out there, we just need to go out there and find it.
